A couple weekends ago I had some friends over and we made our 2017 vision boards and it was wonderful and I could feel the magic of my vision coming together with each picture and word I cut out.
We started the afternoon with a beautiful chakra balancing meditation that my oldest daughter picked out on YouTube and then went on to answering a few (what I thought were simple when I first thought of them) questions about 2016 and what went well and what didn’t. These questions proved to be a little more of head scratchers than I was expecting but we mostly got through them. Once those were out of the way we moved on to the arts and crafts portion of the afternoon and chilled with some snacks and watched Eat Pray Love and enjoyed the positive community building afternoon.

My two oldest children joined us for the board making and had a lot of fun and did a great job. Sadly I didn’t take any more pictures than these 2 part way through and missed some of the other boards that were there. I am very happy with how my board turned out and I can’t wait to use the space in the middle to write down the things I want to do and then to start checking them off. I have big goals for this year that I want to work towards and I am ready to start making a plan and to achieve them!

It’s never too late to start your vision board, a board for any part of your life career, home, family, fitness, or even for how you want your home to feel and ways to decorate it. You can do one like I did here with cutting and pasting, create a board on Pinterest, or use one of the many apps that are out there but I highly recommend that you do one.
