Virgo New Moon

We are in the Virgo New Moon.
Tonight is the New Moon in Virgo and that means it is time to get down to business and clean up the areas in your life where it feels stuck, messy, or the need for change.
Can’t believe we are at the end of August already and summer is coming to a close. I am sad about this but also excited to move into fall and for things to slow down and to move inwards again.
The New Moons amplifies this with it being the start of the moon cycles and is known for being a great time to set your intentions and making plans. I also always feel that September is a new start or new year almost because it is when schools go back and it brings a freshness and I love how the moon is perfectly placed for going back on Tuesday.
Working with the Virgo New Moon
Virgos are known for being organized, perfectionist, and having things in particular ways and this is the perfect time to bring these energies into your life even if you do not come by these traits naturally.
Take your moon journal out and set your intentions keeping these themes in mind, where can you be more organized? Where do you need to focus and clean up?
For me I started a list yesterday of the goals I would like to achieve in September and have them broken down into different categories and on Sunday or Monday when I start to plan out me weekly and monthly schedule I will use this as a guide and make sure I achieve them and that I am not scrambling and flying by the seat of my pants (which is how I typically do things).
Take Inventory – Look at your life and find what is and isn’t working, turn over all the stones and really look. What in your daily routine can you change to make your life better or get closer to your goals? For example can you start drinking more water to help you feel healthier?
Be of Service – Virgo is all about being of service, where can you help others around you? Can you volunteer your skills to help make someone’s life easier or better? Can you offer to take someone’s kids for a bit so they can get some rest? The smallest thing could have the biggest impact on others.
Be Healthy – Think about your diet and habits where can it improve? Use the Virgo push to tighten up your routine and make improvements then schedule them until they are habits and replace the other less helpful habits.
Avoid Nitpicking – Use this energy to notice where you are being too critical of yourself and others and makes steps to change that narrative.
Get Organized – Start organizing and get caught up in the things that need to get done, paper work, bills, and anything else that has slipped during the summer fun months. You don’t need to “Koni” everything but pick the area that bothers you the most and tackle it!
There is no reading this month sorry about that. Check my newsletter as there might be one in there later tonight.
