Welcome 2019

2018 has come and gone and we are into the second month of the year and I am just getting the urge to write again. I have take a few months to rest and recover after a death in the family (all is good it was a peaceful passing) and to try and get my energy gathered and moving again. 2019 is going to be a year of growth and expansion, for some this is going to be a challenging time especially if you are fighting against it, with change it is best to embrace it and roll with the energy and understand the change is for the best even if you cannot see it at the time.
We are all going to be upleveling this year and expanding our consciousness which is uncomfortable at first but once you get through it you will wonder how you ever lived without it before.

Imbolc

February 1st was the celebration of Imbolc in the Northern Hemisphere. On Imbolc we celebrate the noticeable return of the sun as the days are much longer than they were and we start to prepare for the retuning of spring. Even though most of Canada and the United States are experiencing a deep freeze (or polar vortex) we can feel the stirring of life from within wanting to come forth.

A few ways to celebrate:

• Take some time to light some candles (red, yellow, and white are the colours of Imbolc and represent the goddess Brighid and the returning sun
• Take time to plant your garden or tend to you house hold plants, spring is coming and we will be planting before you know it.
• Take a cleansing bath or shower and visualize scrubbing off the dead of winter and revitalizing your body to emerge fresh for the spring equinox next month.

Updates

Part of my taking a rest was to figure out what it is I want to see and do in the upcoming year and finalize the changes I need to make to better serve you and myself.

Products
This first change is to my products, I am still carrying the staples you have come to love (bath salts, lip balm, beard oil, beard balm, moustache wax, and the sprays) I am not currently planning on adding anything new except by special order. I am also not attending any markets in the foreseeable future where I will be selling them.
I am willing to create lotions, potions, and balms by request and customized to your needs either in a single one shot or in a small batch order and prices will be adjusted based on supplies needed and order size. Contact me for more details.

Markets
All markets I am signing up for and announcing I will be doing Intuitive Readings and/or Reiki Healings at. I will have a list of my Markets so far listed at the end of each blog post and newsletter.

Reiki Healings
As of February 1st 2019 my Reiki prices have increased from $75 to $80 for the hour this is for in person and remote bookings. You can book that through my services page or by contacting me directly. I require 2 days notice of in person bookings and all time slots are booked in MST time zone.
I am a Canadian Reiki Association Registered Practitioner which allows me to provide health coverage receipts for you to provide to you health provider for all in person sessions. Note: not all providers cover Reiki healings and it is up to you to talk to your provider to find out.
For anyone who is interested in learning more about Reiki and it’s benefits I will be hosting a free “Intro to Reiki Afternoon” where I will talk you through what Reiki is and how it can help. The space is limited to 8 people and there will be a chance to have a mini Reiki session at a small cost. Stay tuned for more details on that.

Policy Updates
All services have a 24 hour cancellation policy and all appointments cancelled less than 24 hours will be charged a $20 fee. No shows will be charged the full price. Some exceptions do apply.
